Join us at Purrl during the BDW for an introduction to the Ancient Japanese Art of Maki-e on Pearls.
Maki-e (means sprinkled picture), it refers to japanese laquered objects sprinkled with metal powders such as gold, silver, platinum, brass, copper and tin as well as their alloys. It's an art that goes back to 3000 years.
